Success! Completing Order...
You might be sitting still… but inside, everything feels tense.
Your shoulders are tight. Your jaw feels clenched. Your mind keeps ticking over, even when you’re supposed to be resting.
A lot of people tell us they feel “tired but wired” – exhausted, yet unable to properly switch off.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken. Your system has simply been under strain for a while.
Relax & Reset was created for this exact state – when stress has settled into the body, and rest doesn’t feel as restorative as it used to.
This is a calm, supportive treatment designed to help your whole system soften – physically and mentally.
Therapeutic massage helps ease tight muscles, while ear acupuncture supports your system to let go of held stress.
A soothing combination designed to quiet a busy mind and support your nervous system into a calmer, steadier state.
Many people leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and better able to relax beyond the treatment room.
Massage is a powerful way to release tension held in the muscles. But stress doesn’t only live in the muscles.
When your nervous system is under pressure, your body naturally stays slightly braced – even when you lie down to relax.
That’s why tension can return quickly after a massage, or why your mind might still feel busy afterwards.
Relax & Reset works on both layers:
The body, through hands-on therapeutic massage
The nervous system, through ear acupuncture
This combination helps your body not only let go of tension, but feel safe enough to stay in a calmer state.
It’s not about forcing relaxation. It’s about creating the conditions for your system to naturally settle.
Your Relax & Reset appointment is one complete, flowing experience:
You begin with therapeutic massage to ease areas of tightness and release physical tension held in the body.
Once the massage is complete, ear acupuncture is gently applied.
You’re then left to rest quietly for around 25 minutes, allowing your body and nervous system time to absorb the effects of the treatment.
This quiet resting time is an important part of the experience. It gives your system space to slow down, without being rushed back into “doing mode.”
Many clients describe this as the moment their body finally exhales.
People often leave their session feeling:
Lighter in their bodyLess tightly woundCalmer in their mindMore grounded and presentAs though something has gently “shifted” internally
This isn’t about chasing instant fixes or dramatic changes.
It’s about supporting your body back towards balance and ease
Relax & Reset is especially supportive if you:
Feel physically tense most of the time
Struggle to switch your mind off
Carry stress in your shoulders, neck, or back
Feel emotionally drained or overwhelmed
Want a calmer, more settled way to support your wellbeing
You don’t need to be “good at relaxing” for this to work. Your body already knows how to settle – it just sometimes needs the right support.
Your treatment is delivered by Anthony Thomas, therapist and acupuncturist at Deanna Thomas – Acupuncture & Wellbeing in Middlesbrough.
Anthony is a Level 3 sports massage therapist and qualified bodyworker, as well as being licensed and trained to practise ear acupuncture. His approach is calm, professional, and reassuring, helping clients feel at ease – especially if they’re new to acupuncture or feeling unsure.

Not to push through. Not to “just cope a bit longer.” But to give your system a chance to soften.
Relax & Reset is a simple, supportive way to step out of tension and back into a steadier place.
Your body doesn’t need fixing. It deserves care, space, and the chance to settle back into ease.
